Amazing art collection. I'm so grateful it was open when I visited from Mexico City. The staff is super friendly and nice, and the art exhibits are stimulating and we'll curated. If you have the time and money to spare, get the pastrami sandwich at the cafeteria. Nothing to write home about, but it's a nice place to have lunch and rest half way.
Agnes martin! Must see! That's I went for. It was beautiful. In a little corner by herself and entire room of her works. Absolutely stunning. It's pretty quiet since it's a bit out of the way.
Great Contemporary Artists. Local, international, and historic modern artists. The gift shop is hands down the best gift shop in the city. You can get a $5 gift or a very expensive gift, but whatever the price it is gonna be a cool gift. They have the greatest collection of books in their gift shop. I get lost for hours sometimes looking at them. They get very annoyed with me I'm sure. Lol they have never said anything to me for staying in there for 4 hours one time looking at all of their great impressive collection of books. Guarantee you can find something for anyone in there. Yes even someone who has everything.
Love this place, but wish they changed out their exhibits more often. Even 6 months later I’m seeing a lot of the same stuff. Not sure there’s really a reason to come back.
